Writers Wanted

Geordie Labour aims to keep the wider membership of the Labour Party informed of what is going on in the region, and to do that we need people who can report on what is going on at local meetings.

If you are someone who regularly attends your Labour branch or CLP, Momentum meetings, People’s Assembly or any of the other significant political events in the North East, and you want to inform your comrades about what is going on, then please get in touch.

We also need people who are prepared to analyse current events, and who can express the diversity of opinion that exists in the Labour Party. Importantly, there is a pressing need to educate the newer members of the Party in the party processes and where they fit into the democratic decision making structures. This is knowledge that the blairites want to keep from ordinary members, and we need people who can lucidly lay this out for new members!

If any of the above appeals to you, please contact the Geordie Labour team at geordie.labour@gmail.com

  1. Another way to progress matters would be to ask members of the PLP (Parliamentary Labour Party) to sign up to the reintroduction of clause 4 to the Labour manifesto.
The implications of this would be to separate the wheat from chaff of the Blairites.
